Motorcycle Insurance Basics
As a motorcycle rider, you and your bike face tons of risks and liabilities every time you hit the road. Dairyland Cycle Insurance has coverage options that protect you and your bike.
Below, we explain the coverage options we provide:
This is the basic coverage option required for all bikers. If you ever cause damage to property, another vehicle, or cause any injuries, the victims are protected by this policy.
If your motorcycle collides with another vehicle, pedestrian, or anything else that causes damage to your bike, collision coverage will protect you and take care of any repairs, towing, and storage; no matter who’s at fault.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
There may be a time when you are involved in a collision and the other driver doesn’t have enough insurance coverage for the damages. This option will cover the remainder.
Bodily Injury Coverage
If you cause any bodily injury, you may be held accountable for your medical bills. With bodily injury coverage, your Dairyland Motorcycle Insurance policy will cover the expenses related to the victim’s injury.
This covers bodily injuries you may experience in an accident.
This type of insurance coverage protects you from any damage to your motorcycle that isn’t collision-related. This includes damage due to theft, a fallen tree, damage from weather, among other things.
